FAQs

What's the difference between the rates?

Hourly rate is by the hour and, should you need more time, if I am available, I charge in 15 minute chunks (rounded up or down).  So, for instance, if you needed:

- 1 hour and 27 mins, you'd be charged for 1 hour and 30 mins (rounded up example)

-  1 hour and 17 mins, you'd be charged 1 hour and 15 mins (rounded down example).

If I have pre-existing booking following yours, I would need to honour that, so that each client gets my timely attention.

Half day rate is based on 3.5 hours in either a morning or afternoon block, thereafter I charge in 15 minute chunks (rounded up or down) as above. This booking type is in a block of time only, and cannot be split across the day.  It allows you a good chunk of my time, and allows me to work with other clients in the other half of the day.  Should you need to split your time across the day, then the hourly rate will apply, or why not consider booking a day for more flexibility?

Day rate is based on 7 hours, normally within the 9am-6pm working window, but with flexibility within that.  If you book me for a day, you have my full attention for the day (bar a break at some point for food, or human needs of course).  If you have particular requirements over that day that might mean working during the normal lunch break, for instance, I'll offer you flexibility.  The day rate is my premium service and gives you my time and some flexibility, where possible.  I need a day's notice to book or cancel this please, and first come first served, so please do book ahead.

If in doubt, ask me how flexible I can be on any day when you book time with me, so that I can offer the best service possible, and balance commitments.
